Writing is the one thing in the world I have always known how to do. It’s the one thing I find comfort in. There is nothing better than obtaining an idea for a piece of writing, latching on to that inspiration and running with it.
I find a lot of self-fulfillment in my stories. It’s not about spreading the word about my writing and engaging others about it, although these two things are definitely a part of it. But for me, the true fulfillment lies in the creativity of my words, their flow and form as they take shape in my mind and make their way onto the paper or screen.
Only a real writer who feels their words as much as I do will know what I’m taking about. The excitement of developing ones thoughts and getting them down is a natural high I never want to douse.
